The possibilities...

A bitch just wants to take a moment to congratulate the 2006 St. Louis Komen Race for the Cure organization of volunteers for throwing down one of the most amazing fundraisers every year!

64,000 people…and one unfortunate pink dawg…came together in downtown St. Louis in a united front against breast cancer.

A bitch was beyond proud and inspired to be one of the masses.

When you witness the energy created by the people united you find it impossible to tolerate the chaos created by the people divided.

A cure, my friends, is possible...we're talking when, not if.

Just imagine the other possibilities....

You go ABB for participating! So few of us put our feet where our mouths are.

Hey, St. Louis set a national record!

So, 64,000 folks put their feet down along side me...

BTW, my feet are killing me!

This truely is an amazing event. I get chills every year when you see the masses of pink shirts as they gather for the group pic before the race to show that the big c CAN be beaten. A couple of years ago they did an overhead pic where all the "pink ladies" formed a heart shape, with thousands of others around them. It just goes to show how even one person at a time we can make a difference as a whole. Even doing the minimum $20 to be a part of it all, thats a few million raised, the vast majority that stays here in the area. Kudos to all those involved!
