I'm sort of getting used to all the stuffed bear standing about, but I have to question whether it is wise to leave proof of having killed bear about when that bear's relatives are likely to see it and get pissed.

My grandma took me to Alaska in 1974 when I was nine. We toured most of the state, from Pt. Barrow on down, for about 5 weeks. Alaska is the coolest place on earth-- there's nothing like it! Enjoy! And keep posting pictures! I miss all the stuffed bears all over the place. :):)

I don't understand stuffing a bear. It's not respectful methinks. If you must kill a bear, eat it, wear it in the bush or apologize to the Goddess for killing it and let it become dust. Stuffed bear on display in a tourist shoppe makes me sad. Bears are my spirit animal. Don't stuff them y'all.

And I've been living in LA so long, I thought a bear was a chubby hair gay man over the age of 35.
One must be very courageous to come out of one's car to take nice pictures if there remain bears, upset because their family has been stuffed and sold as souvenir...
