Regarding that Commander and Chief test…

Confession - this bitch would support a Commander and Chief test as long as my ass got to write the questions and grade that motherfucker.

Having said that...

A bitch is more than a wee bit disturbed by comments stating that Senator McCain has passed the fictional Commander and Chief test.

"I think that since we now know Sen. (John) McCain will be the nominee for the Republican Party, national security will be front and center in this election. We all know that. And I think it's imperative that each of us be able to demonstrate we can cross the commander-in-chief threshold." ... "I believe that I've done that. Certainly, Sen. McCain has done that and you'll have to ask Sen. Obama with respect to his candidacy” Senator Clinton said.

I’m sorry…well, no I’m not since I didn’t fucking say that shit…but there are two sides bordering Red Phone Avenue. On one side is a rational discussion of those qualities and qualifications Democratic Primary/Caucus voters seek in a President and on the other side is making a point that Senator McCain has passed the Commander and Chief test in an effort to attack the qualifications of Senator Obama.

Last time I check McCain is wrong on reproductive choice, FISA and telecom immunity, the Iraq War, education, healthcare, Social Security…the environment, international diplomacy, NAFTA and economic policy issues.

He was right on the fact that the United States should not torture people.

Cough.

I stand proudly and unapologetically on the left…proud as hell to do so…and the positions of Senator McCain sure as shit do not pass my Commander and Chief test.

No.

Not.

Uh, uh and hell no.

So, let’s get real.

Everyone needs to take a fucking nap and when y’all wake up please, pretty please try to remember what we are fighting for, who we are up against and why this election fucking matters.

Lawd give me strength…

Didn't you read the memo? The one where it says to be Commander in Chief you have to be willing to bomb the shit out of any country that looks at you sideways? Even if that country didn't really look at you sideways, just a couple of kooks from it did?

This is why Clinton scares me. Because I fear that she's going too heavy on the war rhetoric to prove she's man enough. And I wonder if she'll feel the need to back it up.

With her trying to draw a line in the sand with her and McCain on one side and Obama on the other how does anyone realistically think she will actually withdraw the troops? I see a lot of backtracking on most of her campaign platforms if she got elected. And what would all of her staunch supporters have to say then?
All Obama has to do is talk about diplomacy and using good judgement and mention healthcare as that's the one thing that winds her up.

Mrs. Clinton certainly passes the Demander-n-Thief threshold, demanding that the media attack Sen. Obama and stealing primaries at the last minute with lies and manipulation. Other than that, she''s an outstanding "monster," uh, human being.

My jaw jacked up real bad when I heard that statement by ol' Hillary. I said WTF so loud I woke up all the pets.

And it's not the first time she has rated Weathervane McCain higher than Obama.

I am real tired of this election cycle and it's not even close to being over...heavy sigh..

Scary--A Dem demonizing another Dem in front of Rethuglicans. And smiling brightly at McCain who I wouldn't feel secure about calling at 3:00 p.m. on a sunny assed day with peace breaking out all over the world.
I worry for us all. Of course Mr. Bomb Iran will be taking Madame Senators words and throwing them back into all our poor uninsured faces . . . .

Could you include this question on your test:

It's the day before pay day. You are lucky and you have $20 left and you only need to buy dinner.

What is the most economical and nutritious way to feed a family of four people ensuring that no one is left hungry and there are leftovers for lunch the next day? Assume that you do not have to purchase any beverages, spices or seasonings.

Yes, The Mac and Hillary Show offer us the same "looking back in anger" song Oasis gave us a few years back. But they forgot something - something Obama remembers. The song says "don't look back in anger". What we need is a tomorrow we can define. Not a tomorrow defined by the burdens of yesterday. Being better than yesterday is a pretty loe aim. We want a tomorrow we can build. More on this in my blog at http://angryafrican.wordpress.com/2008/03/06/dont-look-back-in-anger-a-cover-by-the-mac-and-hillary-show/
