Daaaamn, passports are being violated all over the place!
Apparently Senator Clinton’s passport was breached (love that word…LOVE IT!) in 2007.
A bitch imagines that the viewing of Senator’s passports was a daily thing staff indulged in. I can just see them putting their popcorn into the microwave, accessing a Senator's passport file then grabbing a diet soda and settling in for a nice long read.

Apparently they're now admitting that they've looked at all three of the current Presidential candidates' passport records. One wonders who they're selling the information to.
Of course, the fact that nobody's passport record is safe is unimportant. Just don't f*ck with presidential candidates!!
I would say that sometimes, plain curiosity bestows upon us a grave lack of judgement. Although I hate it, I wouldn't be surprised at how many hospital workers go through medical files of celebrities of one type or another.
However...!
Passport records are of a different breed. And further, passport records of those running for presidency...it's more than a bit odd, and I can't see that plain curiosity. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but there's got to be something more there.
