Go on and speak then!

Gerry has decided to step down from her position at the Clinton campaign.

Dear Hillary –
I am stepping down from your finance committee so I can speak for myself and you can continue to speak for yourself about what is at stake in this campaign.

The Obama campaign is attacking me to hurt you.
I won't let that happen.
Thank you for everything you have done and continue to do to make this a better world for my children and grandchildren.
You have my deep admiration and respect.
Gerry

Ummm, Gerry?

#1 – Nice try, but there’s no way in hell I’m buying that you weren’t speaking for Clinton 2008. The campaign has a reputation for this shit. Hell, the stepping down part is just part of the bait - act confused - repeat baiting statement in defense – reluctantly resign Clinton 2008 pattern.

#2 – I never have and do not now work for the Obama campaign. I have not volunteered for the Obama campaign. I am not associated with the Obama campaign. So, when I called your ig’nant ass out it was me (this bitch) telling you (ig'nant as hell former Clinton campaign person) that you (ig’nant and so very not clever throwback politician) ain’t slick and that your statement was wrong.

3# - Go the hell on and speak for your self. Bring it! You aren’t saying anything Rush Limbaugh hasn’t been saying for months. Your script ain’t original, Gerry. My black ass has been hearing those tired ass lines for decades.

Their game is so tired and old that it is laughable. You put it very well when you said resigning part of the script. They are the only ones buying the script. Poor sacrificial lamb GF-. Boohoo. Good riddance. Now we need to see if this does any damage. I thing their timing is off and people are hip to the game.

Tell it, Shark-Fu! Ferraro's an old, out-of-touch geezzer! Now, she's even trying to say that the Obama people put her shit out there and that THEY are rascist. I happen to be a fan of Obama---not because of the color of his skin---but because of his intellect, class, and ability to inspire others to be better. All the old-time KKK attitudes need to shut the fuck up and fade to black (pun intended!!)
dandy of Atl.

Please, her own words damned her. Watching Obama on the Morning Show on CBS this morning and Harry Smith trying to get him to say that Hillary should denouce Gerry, Obama was like, "She already did it and shouldn't we be concentrating on something else?"

What kills me is how everyone paints the Obama supporters as bullies and yet no one can say a word about the dirty pool of some of Hillary's supporters.

There's a double standard here: no one should take a shot at Hill because that's being mean to a girl but they can do it to Obama because he's a man and Black (and getting a leg up, don'tcha know?). Well, if anyone has ever spent time around young girls and women then they know they can play just as hard and rough as anyone else on the playground.

I'd have more respect if certain feminists looked up and said, "Yeah, so what I'm a woman. I can do the job and if you don't like it, then get out of my way." Those would be women I could respect.

PATTERN?

Did you say PATTERN?

You mean incidents that are not ISOLATED nor INCIDENTAL?

Hell yeah

It's a PATTERN.

Period.

I knew it wouldn't get by you, ABB.

I liked Flip Wilson's Geraldine much better.

Why not just call Gerry's caregiver and tell them to come get her. Then follow that up with a call to the home healthcare company and ask them how she managed to slip away like that.

Uh uh, there will be no 'maybe she's not right in the head' pass on this shit.

This was not the result of illness and her words were not a symptom of some disease.

She knew what she was saying, meant it when she did and shall be called out as a result!

The bitch is bad. Sorry. She isn't a bitch. She's just a Republcan wearing a dress. HillBillary. We are so fucked if she wins.

Bill&Hill's Arkansas is showing -- and it ain't pretty at all.

PortlyDyke said...

No shit she knew what she was saying -- and in the follow-up interviews, it was clear to me that not only was she going tactical for Clinton's campaign, but she also personally held conviction in every bit of it -- which is even more chilling, to me.

I've read excuses for her racism on the internet today that have set my hair on end with cold freakin' fear for the state of our cultural consciousness.

Very weak, Ms. Ferraro!

Do these people actually believe what they write? I have to believe that she's smarter than that.

In any case, we're smarter than that.

I still cant see how Gerry thinks the hillary campaign is the victim here. What gets me is that the response is political volleying and denial. She did know what she was saying and she knows what she is doing now with the letter.

As usual: thankyouthankyouthankyou! I want to ask how she can say these things, now, in 2008; but I know the answer and, yes, she meant every single word of what she said, exactly as she said it.

Amen. Thank you.

Oh, Gerry. But, come on, it was foolish, it was racist, and it was silly.

I still stand by that we were just waiting to hit on something. And I'm gonna say this about O: he's right, shouldn't we be focusing on something else? The "monster" (+a few other comments) happened, made a little stink, and then moved on.

I think it's funny on both sides. They're both politicians. Obama represents change as much as Hillary represents true Democratic ideals. Ultimately, they're in it to win it.

Ferarro is the latest example of Obama's point about Hillary's decision making.
