Hi,
Random question for you. I live in Los Angeles and form time to time we have protests in our city. Most recently, this past Saturday, 500,000 to 1 million Latino's took to the street to protest imigration reform bills currently under consideration in the House and Senate. In spite of the size of the protest no property was damaged and no one was hurt. This stands in start contrast to the protests that have occured in the African American community over the last approximate 20 years in Los Angeles. Why does it seem like every time African Americans protest people get hurt/shot, property gets damaged and buildings are torched? What causes the violence?
Well, Anonymous...
That comment is dangerously absolute in its interpretation of black protests. Odd and random.
A bitch applauds the protesters in L.A.! My ass just doesn't assign the ability to protest non-violently with my race or gender.
A bitch suggests that Anonymous do a wee bit of research into the history of protests in L.A. prior to the 1990's, into why some protests got violent and others didn't and...try to avoid racial generalizations on this bitch's blog in the future.
Thanks for sharing.
Well, and god knows how many of those protests that ol' riot inciter MLK Jr. organized got out of hand. He was a maniac, that one, always about destroying property.
