A bitch adores Aretha Franklin, so my ass was beyond excited to hear that her autobiography Aretha: From These Roots is being turned into a musical which will tour America.

this is a true aretha story...a coupla years ago i bought tickets online to see aretha at radio city in ny...there was a little box that said click here if you want to be entered into a contest to win a mercedes benz (they sponsored her tour)...so i did...and i did...so it goes without saying that although i loved aretha before, i TRULY LOVE her now...i say thank you to that woman everyday...can't wait for this tour and btw i've been reading you for a long long time and love every word...
