And a special “Go on with your bad self!!” goes out to those faculty members who left the stage (daaaaaaaaamn!) to join graduates and turn their back on that heinous woman.
Be proud y’all! You made sure your voice was heard and that is a very powerful thing.
And it also means you’ve earned an honorary degree in keeping shit real!
Fantabulous.

plenty of things wu does wrong but im a proud wash u alum at this moment! its the students...its the students....and the down faculty (some of them at least)
The e-mail the chancellor sent out was so autocratic. The way the administration basically has no regard for the student community is offensive. If it doesn't make money, it just doesn't register on the list of consideration for a lot of the higher-ups.
Fuggin' A! I'm so happy for them and danged proud they did it!
Very good demonstrations of opposition. And hopefully it will cause others/more to look into her and all the backward beliefs she and other members of her party still hold.
That was awesome. I actually had to look her up b/c I didn't know who she was but I applaud them!
What has Phyllis done to deserve an honorary doctorate? Tell other women that they should be subservient while she lived exactly the opposite? Hate the gays while she has a gay son.
I would not have been silent.
