Hold please...

My brothers and sisters, a bitch is working through some serious shit.

A bitch’s brother is facing a layoff from his job. Bill, who is autistic, simply adores his job and my ass is freaked out that he may not have that in his life. So, a bitch’s post will be delayed while my ass tries to get a handle on the problem.

Advice is welcome. If any of y’all have a job in St. Louis for a 35-year-old autistic man with fast food clean-up experience and a great smile please let a bitch know…

Lawd have mercy!

I work as a case manager for adults with developmental disabilities, many with autism as a secondary diagnosis, MR being the primary!
Here in Florida, DCF will refer clients to Supported Employment Coaches (programs) or as Morgan mentioned, Goodwill Industries not only hire persons with developmental disabilities but some have ADT (Adult Day Training) programs which prepare clients to eventually go out into the communities to secure employment. I will check my referral sources and e-mail you if we have any contacts in the St. Louis area. Your blog continues to be informative, sensitive and entertaining. I look forward to reading it daily! You are this "gay older" white man's inspiration!

P.S. My fellow case manager who originally hails from the St. Louis area told me to have you check out www.Judevine.org. It's an autism center and they have a supported employment program. Best of Luck! Don~
