Like most Americans, I am somewhat obsessed with all things royal. We may have booted our monarchy back to England, but we do enjoy watching it from a distance! I even like observing the others, too.
So what's up? Why isn't anyone over here talking about Prince Albert and his baby's momma? Or should I say, his African baby's momma and his pretty mocha-latte baby. Really, the kid is cute! Looks like Princess Grace, don't you think? With a serious tan.

Color me cynical-- Within the not-so-distant past I recall an article devoted to Prince Albert finding a wife, and what the requirements for her should be... mostly to be able to provide children. I believe it even hinted that IVF would be done or otherwise hinted "sex optional." For years, rumors have abounded regarding Albert's sexuality; and although I don't doubt he's some mochalicious baby's daddy, I do wonder if this is not being sensationalized to throw those homo-haters off his scent. IMHO I think he might be on the down-low and not necessarily an out-and-out gay.
Personally I love Monaco's royal family. Perhaps because they're half American (by way of Grace); and perhaps because they truly have a lot of *real* issues that other folks are going thru elsewhere. And for a change, I'm glad that it's not Stephanie's life being held out to be analyzed by the masses. That chick's 15 minutes were up long ago. :)
