I’m going to be in St. Louis this weekend to introduce my parents to my partner of 16 years. I wonder if going to the protest will send my 82-year-old parents over the edge?
Ask them. They might surprise you.

Let your voice be heard! I'll be there too, it'll be a hoot!
I'll be thinking about you when I am at City Hall Plaza in Boston for our part in this.
I congratulate you Blacks on being the critical factor in the defeat of Proposition 8. You 70% support was far more effective and numerous than that of those Honkey Redneck Zealots.
The Gay Coalation will have to adjust its politics accordingly. Don't be surprised when you see some Pink and Lavender Hoods at the next Cross Burning, 'cause you've UncleTommed your Gay Friends.

Go fuck yourself.
There is no "us" against "them" up on this blog. There are "we"...and we (my black ass included) are united in our opposition against Prop. 8 and the ig'nant hate it represents.
Find some other reason to spin your divisive bullshit - because a bitch doesn't tolerate trifling ass bullshit here.
And will someone please tell me why people insist on talking about black and lgbt as if black can't also be lgbt?
Fuck it.
Get gone, asshole...a bitch has work to do.
