The industry may have denied him the royalties that were his due but history will remember Bo Diddley as a musical revolutionary and a guitarist till the very end.
My favorite Bo Diddley quote refers to his having been cheated out of most of the money his music brought in… "A dude with a pencil is worse than a cat with a machine gun."
Bo Diddley was 79 years old.

Ah my dear but now he can rest in peace and enjoy all the riches he was so wrongly denied on this earth.
I won't say he was my favorite but I did like his music and his style. Now he can sit back and laugh at the one's that did him wrong. Somehow, I doubt he will though. He seemed like the kind of guy that would turn the other cheek and pray for the ones that wronged him.
They might have taken his money but they could not take his heart and soul.

I cried when I heard the news. I literally have listened to this man play my entire life..my dad used to tell me that he played me some 'BO' when I was still in the womb. He likes to tell the story of me dancing to Bo when I was but a wee lass in diapers.
He is with those that passed before him...hopefully jamming and having fun.
The world has definitely suffered a loss... and of course he will be missed.
Man is a legend.
