You drink the most insipid stuff which hardly passes for water. You may as well be drinking Bud Lights. Has anyone ever heard of Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout? Or how about Arrogant B@st@rd? At least, if you have to have a light beer, go for the EKU 28. Are you voting the for the Prohibition Party?

How about that! I am also enjoying a fine Sam Adams Winter Lager. I bought a 12 pack of them a few days ago.

Anyone who would dis the Cape Cod needs to drink more and think about it less. Vodka and cran is a good classic drink. But have you ever tried gin and cran? That could be interesting......

Delux! A toast of vodka followed by cran to you!

lazy iguana, a bitch got sick as a dawg off of gin way back during college and now avoid it (shudder). But non-gin options will always be considered!

I - being Irish on both sides of my family and with years and years of bartending under my belt (and that's not even to mention the serious drinking) - have sampled just about every micro, macro, regional, craftbrew, homebrew, and mainline beer in North America. And I happen to enjoy Sam Adams Winter Lager. (Sister C-Money, if you're in the D.C. area I highly recommend a little brewpub 2 blocks NW of the Ballston Stop that makes Sasquatch Ale, a heavenly winter brew that has fresh spruce tips as the secret ingredient. Got to try it to believe it, but MAN it's good!)

As for non-beer based recipes (and they are legion, although I am not a fan of the clear liquors) one of mine that always got good reviews was a shot each of light and dark rums with cranberry and pineapple juices, a splash of seltzer, and a squeeze of lime. I doubt I originated the combo, but I sure sold a lot in my day!

Cheers.
