Dr. George Tiller has been murdered in Kansas…

Update - a suspect has been arrested in the murder of Dr. George Tiller.

Dr. George Tiller has been shot and murdered in Kansas.

Dr. Tiller was an out-spoken supporter of abortion rights and one of the few physicians who provided late-term abortion services in the country.

My thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues.

"Women and Families are intellectually, emotionally, spiritually, and ethically competent to struggle with complex health issues -- including abortion -- and come to decisions that are appropriate for themselves."
George R. Tiller, M.D., DABFP
Medical Director
Women's Health Care Services, P.A.

May he rest in peace…

So sad.

"This is terrorism"

This is so correct. It seems somewhat ironic that a group of people so concerned with the sanctity of life don't mind taking lives. As long as it fits their cause.

There are people comparing Tiller's murderer to John Brown.

Historical understanding FAIL

*headdesk*

My thoughts and prayers are with Tiller's family.

I am very saddened by the ignorance and hatred. If you don't like abortion, don't have one. Very simple.

That is so horrible. It's like people are regressing and getting even more hateful and racist as time goes on. It's pathetic.

It is 2009, and people are still anit-abortion for the most part.

Do these people realize that abortion would not be able to those who needed it then?

Like Rape victims, AIDS victims, Women who could loose their own lives in the process...

I'm not saying people should just have abortions whenever they just didn't plan a baby, but every woman knows what is right for her situation.

It's not like people have them for fun, and it's not like the doctor's get a kick out of it either.

To kill someone because of their occupation is retarded. Don't we have bigger and better things to be worried about? Like violence, terrorism, and America?
