Unfortunately, I believe that she, and by extension, her crew, will say and/or do ANYthing...and I mean ANYthing, to win the presidency. When she first ran for office, I had an immediate and intense dislike/distrust of her. After a few years, I started to mellow towards her. And I truly would love to see a woman in the white house. But not this woman. No. Sorry. I'd vote for McCain before I'd vote for her. Yup. I know. Shocking. That's how much I dislike/distrust everything about her....

Not that anyone asked...Laceyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06707866603299800164noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10755833.post-63100692982292908972007-12-16T20:47:00.000-06:002007-12-16T20:47:00.000-06:00ABB,A little post about Bill Clinton on Charlie Ro...ABB,

A little post about Bill Clinton on Charlie Rose.

Bill Clinton on Charlie Rose about Obama - ' Who does he think he is?'

Maybe I'm just too ' sensitive', but there was an undercurrent to the entire interview.rikyrahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10982657053583534299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10755833.post-82776626098628947962007-12-16T16:37:00.000-06:002007-12-16T16:37:00.000-06:00I've noticed how the Clinton campaign has worked t...I've noticed how the Clinton campaign has worked to keep the story alive, with constant apologies, distancing, a resignation, more apologies, and more distancing.libhomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05537213558568338561noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10755833.post-78154379154010772962007-12-16T11:01:00.000-06:002007-12-16T11:01:00.000-06:00Really, it makes me like him better.Because he isn...Really, it makes me like him better.

Because he isn't covering it up with some bullshit like "I didn't inhale" or "I don't remember" or "I didn't do it between this date and this date."

I read Dreams from my Father and really admired his honesty in that book on all levels, and I think this whole thing may just backfire in the Clinton campaign's face.

At least, I hope so.Sarah Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16747210247444852766noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10755833.post-61174203939633980682007-12-15T14:12:00.000-06:002007-12-15T14:12:00.000-06:00It's such a shame that all the collective ego's in...It's such a shame that all the collective ego's involved couldn't have put their "in the big picture...small" differences aside and shared the ticket Obama/Clinton, Clinton/Obama. I don't really care in what order but I certainly would like to see two sound minds, and a woman and person of color in the white house in my lifetime.
No, I'm sorry I do care. I admit, I have a prejudice. I would like to see Ms. Clinton's name first, not because she is smarter, better, has more experience, or anything that...I am not politically astute enough to make that determination (which is why I log on to my "sisterbitch's" site every day, and a few others, and try to decipher the paper and news.
No, it is because I truly in my heart believe that a woman, who has bourne children, nourished them with body and soul, raised and loved them, and tried to teach them right from wrong and the meaning of the constitution would not send them, or anyone else's children off to die in a frivolous war.Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04603656909446005492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10755833.post-91930872340658503832007-12-15T11:37:00.000-06:002007-12-15T11:37:00.000-06:00Well, I suppose harping on Obama's teenage drug us...Well, I suppose harping on Obama's teenage drug use makes a little more sense than revealing the shocking news that he (you'd better sit down for this) revealed his grasping ambition in kindergarten with his power-obsessed "I Want to Become President" essay.

Jesus.
