If this was his first term, great, we had options and the left blew it big time. However, we are left to sit in the shadows of a madman who is slowly undoing any progress that had been made over the previous 10 years. By the time he does leave office, any number of Hollywood celebrities will be better suited for our office of President. Hell, my son would do a better job and he's only 10. I think I see less wrong with Nixon's administrative practices than I do with Bush's. I applaud you on the comparison of the two administrations. It's a wonder that it hasn't been taken into consideration before now. I think you should send this commentary into the NY Times and let someone discover your brilliance.

CP.CPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08266202135270130146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10755833.post-1144434024968890802006-04-07T13:20:00.000-05:002006-04-07T13:20:00.000-05:00Way back in the 80s, we used to snark off that the...Way back in the 80s, we used to snark off that the Moral Majority was neither. I guess we can now say the same thing about the Christian Right, eh?Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04620378015203625284noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10755833.post-1144433692586788802006-04-07T13:14:00.000-05:002006-04-07T13:14:00.000-05:00Excellent post! Let's watch the great tapes of Discovery again this weekend with pizza!

On religion in politics, I do so love to engage in a bible passage war with the Right. They always lose. For example, a lot of the current troubles would be eliminated if the Prez had meditated on peace, the poor, forgiveness, not bearing false witness, not throwing the first stone and other such morality tales he could learn in an illustrated book of children's bible stories if the real thing is too much trouble. Going hell bent for leather to get into a war is not a very Christian thing to do ... at least in the Christ sense of the word.

C-MoneyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10755833.post-1144433364259316692006-04-07T13:09:00.000-05:002006-04-07T13:09:00.000-05:00Thank God Shark-Fu,After sneaking a look at The W...Thank God Shark-Fu,

After sneaking a look at The White House briefing (while keeping my work face glued on) I could have cried.
